Drifting has always been a crowd-pleasing sport, with drivers pushing the limits and delivering fantastic (and sometimes impossible) slides. How different is this year's event?

VIP Luxury Inc is looking to make an impact with the drifting event, which has already established a strong following in Singapore. VIP Luxury Inc. will be going all out to make sure that guests are entertained throughout the evening, with VIP Rock the Rabbit Festival, pulling out all the stops by bringing down the world famous International Playboy Model DJs, DJ Roxanne Dawn and DJ Diamond to keep fans entertained for the entire night. The Rock the Rabbit - Festival will also kick off with a casting call for all prospective VIP magazine Bunnies, as well as a VIP fashion show, amidst a colourful, activity lined festival grounds. Standup comedian Kumar adds humour to this event too. The festival will also include a special VIP access only art gallery dedicated to the decades of legendary Playboy Magazine Covers, as well as famous interviews with celebrities. VIP guests will have access to
the Mansion Hospitality Suites, getting the full VIP treatment serving aphrodisiac food and drinks.

The fourth edition of Formula DRIFT Singapore is set for more intense racing and partying at the F1 Pit Building.

Toshiki Yoshioka found the podium again after a one year hiatus and placed in third beating John Russakoff in the consolation round. The finals pitted Falken Tire teammates Daijiro Yoshihara and Darren McNamara. With consistent driving Yoshihara again found the podium this season and won his second consecutive victory at Road Atlanta. With this victory Yoshihara moves into first place overall in the Pro Championship standings and takes the lead in the chase for the Tires.com Triple Crown.

Round 1: Streets of Long Beach provided fans with action and excitement through the weekend. The debut of new vehicles and new drivers added to the anticipation for the new season.

Tengku Djan said, “It is a great feeling to have won the overall Asian Championship, although it would have been better to finish with a win in Malaysia.” He crashed out at the first elimination round of the final 32 drivers, clinching the overall title with just 28 points ahead of Non Saranon.

Tandem Assassin Crowned 2010 Formula Drift Asian Champion

It was a tense moment for Tengku Djan (aka “Tandem Assassin”) at the Goodyear Formula DRIFT Malaysia, the final round of the three-leg Formula DRIFT Asia series.

Spectators this year can look forward to catching up to 50 competitive drivers from across the Asia-Pacific region pushing their rear-wheel-drive cars to the limit with impeccable precision and vehicle control. This year’s edition will see the return of some familiar international faces such as Ryuji Miki from Japan and Daniel Woolhouse from New Zealand as well as local crowd favourites, Ariff Johanis, Azrina Jane, Michael Gan and Hanizam bin Hazmah from Team Goodyear. This combined with a host of fresh faces from the region will surely elevate the standards of professional drifting to new heights in Malaysia.

Goodyear Formula Drift Malaysia Revvs Up For Another Exhilarating Showcase

Motor sports fans to look forward to the thrilling drift action at the Dataran Merdeka.

As with most finals, the final event did not fail to disappoint, showcasing intense drifting action that will determine a new champion. The battle for third place pitted Darren McNamara in the Falken Tire Saturn Sky against Michihiro Takatori in the BF Goodrich Nissan S15. McNamara pushed his car too hard hitting the wall and taking himself out of the competition giving Takatori third place. The final battle placed two time Formula DRIFT champion Tanner Foust against Vaughn Gittin Jr. After a close One More Time battle, Foust edged out Gittin to take the event victory as well as secure his first Tires.com Triple Crown bonus prize.

Tanner Foust takes the event victory while Vaughn Gittin Jr. is crowned 2010 Formula Drift Champion!

The final match-up pitted Vaughn Gittin Jr. in his Monster Energy/Falken Tire Ford Mustang against Ryan Tuerck in the Mobil 1/Maxxis Pontiac Solstice. Gittin edged out Tuerck for his second victory of the season increasing his lead overall in the championship standings with only one event remaining in the season.

McQuarrie will carry the momentum of the victory to the next stop of the Formula DRIFT championship at his hometown track for Round 6: Point of Impact on September 10-11. This is the last event before the Finals in October and the drivers will be sure to put it all on the line for a chance at the title.
